Our Team

Travis Wood is an arts professional and lifelong creative with degrees in Business (Nonprofit Management) and Queer Theory (Antioch University Los Angeles). A certified nonprofit professional (CNP), Travis explores art, culture, and identity through performance and production.

He’s the co-creator and producer of Planet Queer and a seasoned performance artist and filmmaker whose work has appeared across California. A lifetime member of The Dream Circus Theatre, Travis has contributed to numerous productions and created projects like The Adonis Project, NSFW Film Fest, and Get More Gay Performance Workshops with Ian MacKinnon.

Ian MacKinnon is a GLAAD award-nominated artist who has performed all across California at theaters, festivals, universities and more. He has produced and curated countless shows independently and for The City of West Hollywood, Grand Park DTLA, Antioch University and more. Past events include: LA Voices PROUD Stories, Gay Hist-Orgy, The Discount Cruise to Hell, Naked Creatures, Rehearsal for the Destruction of Atlantis and more. Through his collaborations with Travis Wood, Ian co-created Planet Queer, The Adonis Project, NSFW Film Fest, and Get More Gay Performance Workshops, all of which have helped to showcase emerging talent and support the LGBTQ+ community.

Gayliens are an extraterrestrial art entity and lifelong creatives. The Gayliens study atmosphere, desire, and identity through silent performance and physical transmission. Trained beyond language and liberated from binary form, they explore connection through presence, movement, and provocation.

They are core recurring performers at PLANET QUEER, and appearing across the galaxy wherever queer gravity gathers. Their work exists at the intersection of play, love, and disruption.
